With a damaged and worn-out lorry body, unloading bulk goods becomes increasingly time-consuming and, not least, dangerous, as the load often only starts to slide properly at extreme tipping angles. By installing a UV-protected OKUSLIDE® lining – the retrofittable plastic lining from OKULEN® – you ensure that your load slides off the loading area quickly and without leaving any significant residue. Specially embedded additives in the material ensure excellent sliding properties.
Even at the lowest temperatures down to -40°C, no reduction in quality is to be expected thanks to the material’s excellent mechanical properties. OKUSLIDE® wear linings are available, depending on your requirements, as a complete system including customer consultation, material development, planning and installation.
Up to a continuous operating temperature of 80 °C (briefly up to 100 °C), you can transport bulk materials at normal temperatures and residual heat using an OKUSLIDE® lining.
Bulk materials at even higher temperatures cause structural damage to the PE lining material and must not be transported using OKUSLIDE®.
10 mm thick lining material is recommended for vehicles used primarily in agriculture with particle sizes up to a maximum of Ø 100 mm.
12.5 mm thick lining material is recommended for vehicles in the construction materials sector with particle sizes up to a maximum 200 mm.
On request, OKUSLIDE® is even available in thicknesses of up to 15 mm.
OKUSLIDE® Premium Blue 5893 is not approved for the transport of asphalt.
